Welcome to the Hypno-Band Weight Loss Clinic. Dr Ashcroft, Consultant Hypnotherapist, has advanced knowledge and experience in treating weight issues, with over 18 years experience in various clinical settings. His rooms are at the A NU U clinic, 13a Market Square, Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, Advance Medical Screening, 11a Alexandria Drive, Lytham St Annes, and the North West Therapy Centre in Blackpool, Lancashire. Consultations are also available via Skype at keith_ashcroft. All our doctors are officially licensed Hypno-Band practitioners.
What is it?
The Hypno-Band Treatment consists of an initial assessment of dietary and relevant medical history, and an introduction to clinical hypnosis. Further sessions involve the ‘placement’ and ‘adjustment’ of a ‘virtual gastric band’ to your stomach, which reduces your food intake; cognitive behavioural treatment is utilised to address any underlying emotional issues related to eating behaviour. Recordings in the form of CDs and MP3s are also given to reinforce the treatment at home.
Does it work?
Hypno-Band has a very high success rate in terms of long term weight loss; however, the key to the successful treatment is a commitment from you.
Is it safe?
Hypno-Band is completely safe, and does not involve any surgery or discomfort. It a relaxing experience, with no known side-effects.
Am I suitable?
If you are overweight and committed to achieving your desired weight loss, then you are suitable for Hypno-Band. The only exceptions being that you are on certain medications and/or have a medical reason for being overweight.
